Our Chocolate Truffle Tart is a chocolate lovers dream! With chocolate added into our perfect Butter Flake Pie Crust and a rich chocolate filling made from our Mini Chocolate Chips, this tart is nothing short of delicious. Creamy, dreamy and sugar-free, you’ll want to make this as soon as you can!

Ingredients

1 package Butter Flake Pie Crust
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
7 tbsp butter
1 large egg

1 package KetoBakes Mini Chocolate Chips
1 1/3 cup heavy cream
3 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into small pieces

For the crust:
Preheat the oven to 350 and spray a tart pan with cooking spray. (We used a 14’’ x 5” pan with a removable bottom.)
Add the pie crust mix and cocoa powder to a food processor and process until combined. Add in the butter and egg and process until it reaches the proper consistency, about 20 seconds for the dough to form.
Press the dough carefully in the tart pan, making sure to sides and bottom are the same consistency.
Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool to room temp. Place in the freezer for 2 hours to fully firm before removing from the pan and filling.
For the chocolate truffle filling:
Add the chocolate chips to a large heatproof bowl and set aside.
Heat the heavy cream in a separate bowl until hot. Pour the heavy cream over the chocolate chips, making sure the cream completely covers the chocolate chips. Let stand for 30 seconds and then whisk until smooth. Stir in the butter until smooth.
Remove the crust from the baking pan and place on your serving platter. Pour the filling into the crust and allow it to set firm before adding any garnishes, like berries. Enjoy!
