KB Mixes Needed:
Best Ever Buns


Ingredients:
1 package Best Ever Buns mix
¼ cup onion, chopped
½ tsp dried sage
½ tsp dried thyme
1 ½ cups chicken broth
1 tsp salt
½ tsp pepper
3 eggs, lightly beaten
Sprinkle of parsley, after baking


Directions:
1. Follow the directions on the back of the Best Ever Buns mix, but spread the whole
mixture into a 13x9 baking dish lined with parchment paper. Bake for 65 minutes and let
cool slightly.
2. Cut the buns into cubes and, if desired, toast slightly by adding the cubes to a skillet with
a little butter or oil. Add the cubes back to the greased 13x9 pan.
3. In the same skillet, add the onions and cook over medium heat until they are soft, about
3-4 minutes. Pour in the chicken broth and mix in the salt, pepper, sage and thyme. Heat
until warm.
4. Add the eggs to the cubes of bread and stir to combine. Pour over the warm broth and
mix until the cubes have broken down slightly and everything is incorporated.
5. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes, then broil the top if desired. Top with parsley and serve.
