KB Mix Needed:
Best Ever Sandwich Buns
Ingredients:
KB Best Ever Buns mix
1 cup egg whites
1 cup water
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
For the cream cheese filling:
1 8oz package cream cheese, softened
1 tbsp PopSweet sweetener
1 tbsp heavy cream
For the garlic butter:
2/3 cup butter, melted
1 egg
2 tbsp garlic, minced
½ tbsp salt
2 tsp parsley
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 and lined a baking sheet with parchment.
2. Make the rolls according to the package directions, but divide the dough into 3. Scoop onto the baking sheet in tall circle mounds and smooth the tops by wetting your fingers slightly and smoothing the tops and sides.
3. Bake for 70 minutes. Cover with foil halfway through baking if the tops are getting too browned. Let cool for 20 minutes.
4. While the rolls are cooling, make the cream cheese filling by combining the softened cream cheese, sweetener and heavy cream, mixing until smooth. Add the filling to a piping bag or large ziploc bag.
5. After the rolls are cooled, slice each roll into 6 pieces, being careful not to fully cut all the way through. You want them to still be connected at the bottom. Pipe the cream cheese into each of the sections, spreading apart slightly as you go. If there is any remaining cream cheese, add to the center of each roll.
6. Mix together the butter, egg, garlic, salt and parsley until fully combined, then smooth the mixture onto each roll, brushing down the sides and into each slice on top of the cream cheese.
7. Return to the 350 oven for 20 minutes.
8. Let cool 10 minutes. Serve warm and enjoy!
