Glazed Cinnamon Drop Biscuits Recipe

KB Mixes Needed:
Buttery Biscuit Mix
PopSweet Sweetener

Ingredients:

1 package KB Buttery Biscuit Mix
2 large eggs
1/3 cup sour cream
4 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 tsp PopSweet sweetener

Glaze:
4 tbsp heavy cream
2/3 cup KB PopSweet
1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 400*. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Melt the butter, then stir in the cinnamon and PopSweet sweetener. Set aside.
3. Mix together the eggs and sour cream. Pour in the whole package of Buttery Biscuit mix
and mix until fully combined.
4. Pour the butter mixture over the biscuit mix and using a spatula, fold into the dough just
until the butter is incorporated, making darker streaks throughout the dough.
5. Use a cookie scoop and roughly scoop 9 biscuits onto the parchment, about 2 inches
apart. There is no need to smooth the surface.
6. Bake for 13 minutes or until the tops are brown.
7. After the biscuits have rested for about 15 minutes, start the glaze by mixing together the
heavy cream, PopSweet and vanilla in a microwave safe bowl.
8. Warm the glaze for about 10 seconds in the microwave, stirring to get rid of any lumps.
9. Pour on top of the slightly warm biscuits and serve immediately.

NOTE: If you don’t wish to use a glaze, add in 2 tbsp PopSweet to replace the 2 tsp PopSweet
and add in 1 tsp vanilla extract in the recipe to get a nice cinnamon-sweet biscuit.
This buttery biscuit mix gets a sweet upgrade with this recipe. By adding in cinnamon to the
dough and a PopSweet sweetened glaze on top, these biscuits go from dinner to dessert (or
even breakfast!). They are so simple and yet so delicious. We can’t wait for you to try them!
